Have just spoken to Dean Kemp (the guy who sells fuel at Dog Leg Creek) to make sure that we will be able to buy fuel for our upcoming trip, from Derby, on April 1st. Dean informed me that “Nautical Mick” will be selling fuel from the Barge at Dog Leg Creek again this year, not from Cockatoo Island as was the case last year. They will be starting on April 1st. Dean also told me that the Bar is open on Cockatoo Island for anyone who would like to call in there for refreshments. Hope this info may be useful to someone
