      WHAT IS THE BEST TIDE PREDICTION INFORMATION FOR DARWIN TO BROOME?

      We use the BOM and print out the each section a keep a hard copy onboard for our voyage……. Kimberley it’s all about the tides. http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/tides/#!/wa-broome

      and pay attention to flood and ebb flows in FSC WA cruising guide.

      I use Isailor electronic charts and have subscribed to the tide info. Comparing that information with the BoM, Isailor is usually within 15 minutes and .2- to .3m, and it’s easy to use having the tidal info always displayed on the chart. Isailor do state that there will be differences to state derived data and if I have any doubts, I’ll use BoM predictions when necessary.

      As carrboyd mentioned, the FSC guide is a must!
