  As part of the federal governments remote (black spot) Australia wide mobile phone/internet funding policy Kalumburu will soon have Telstra mobile phone coverage which will no doubt be much welcomed by kccyc members and many others. Cheers Bingo

  Thanks for the info Bingo. Let’s hope the mobile coverage gets out to McGowan Island and Honeymoon Bay Camps, or else it may not have the range to reach the coast from Kalumburu.

  Bingo there’s NO telstra coverage in Kalumburu.
  
  But Optus coverage is now available within about 2-3 km of Kalumburu.
  
  McGowans Sunset Beach and Honeymoon Bay have wifi and phones available for a small fee.
